Why Nobilis Multriva® REOm?
Proven protection
Nobilis Multriva® is built upon innovative scientific principles. MSD Animal Health believes that the following trials demonstrate the efficacy and performance of Nobilis Multriva®.
Avian Reovirus
Reduction in viremia and clinical signs caused by ARV for the progeny of chickens vaccinated with Nobilis Multriva®.
Long-Lasting High Antibody Titers in Vaccinated Hens
Nobilis Multriva® REOm induces strong antibody titers that persist up to at least 80 weeks after booster vaccination, regardless of the priming vaccine, ensuring consistent, high-quality MDA for chicks.

Robust, Broad Protection for Progeny Against All 5 Genotypes*
Nobilis Multriva® REOm provides broad cross-protection against viremia and clinical signs in the progeny of vaccinated hens against all major ARV genotypes (1-5*).

DPC = days post challenge, DOA = day of age, WOA = weeks of age. *Initially, the ARV challenge strain GA 94594 was thought to represent genotype 4 due to early clustering, but as more strains were analyzed, it was reclassified into the newly identified genotype 5.
Phylogenetic Tree Viewer
A phylogenetic tree graphically depicts differences between aligned sequences of genomes and proteins in which contemporary species and their intermediate and common ancestors occupy the terminal nodes, internal nodes and the root.
ARV is divided into genotypes based on the σC gene sequences. These clusters represent different genotypes, with genotypes 1 and 4 being the most prevalent.
Protein alignments were performed on Avian Reovirus Sigma C genes (amino acids 1-326) using Genelous Prime® 2022.1.1 (www.genelous.com) software and Clustal Omega alignment program v1.2.2 (http://www.clustal.org/omega/) followed by phylogenetic analysis using Genelous Tree Builder with Jukes-Cantor genetic distance model and Neighbor-Joining tree build method with no outgroup and without re-sampling a consensus tree. Genotyping based on Kant. et. al, 2003.
Nobilis Multriva® REOm in a prime boost program allows progeny protection against challenge with multiple ARV genotypes when they are most vulnerable.
